Grown to help Organization's overview

Founded in 2021 by an avid young lady called Mugabekazi Denyse who envisions a world of justice and equal opportunities, Grown to Help (GTH) is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Kigali; registered and operating in accordance with the Rwandan law. GTH endeavors for a country in which all children access quality education, and women have influence over decision-making and participate fully and effectively in society’s development. it carries out its activities in various sectors including poverty alleviation, women empowerment, education, Sanitation and Hygiene, Sexual reproductive health, Gender-Based violence eradication, and family welfare.

OUR PROJECTS

Education

We support the Children of Beneficiary Families by Offering them Mentoring Sessions and Providing them with Financial and Material Support, by emphasizing the vision of becoming competitive on the labor market.

SRHR AWARENESS & GBV ERADICATION IN SCHOOLS

We Educate - Engage -Advocate - Support - With respect to both genders (Girls and Boys) in School.

Sanitation & Hygiene in Schools

We promote an improved Sanitation, Health and hygiene culture by Supplying and Installing SATO Pans in Schools in Collaboration with SATO Toilet Rwanda, We create Health and Sanitation Clubs in Schools to sustain appropriate hygiene practices, and We support Schools with Cleaning Materials such as liquid soaps, buckets, Toilet papers, Brushes, etc.….

Economic Empowerment

This Program aims to Improve The Economic Status of Beneficiary Households by Training Women in Financial literacy, Grouping them in Saving and Internal Lending Groups (SILAs), and Providing Them With Seed Capital to Start their Own Income-generating Activities.
